I want to introduce our new President of GBAYHA, Amy Carstens. Since I’ve been on the GBAYHA board for 8 years and on the executive for the last four years, I’m very excited about the direction that GBAYHA is moving and our newly elected Board. Though I have to resign as President, (according to our By-Laws, no one can hold a position on our Executive Board (President, Vice President, Secretary, or Treasurer) unless they have a skater in GBAYHA’s program), I’m encouraged to be able to leave the Executive Board in very capable hands.

I, along with our new President Amy Carstens, Vice President; Dave Cavil; Secretary, Jeff Ryther; and Treasurer, Dave Dreckschmidt, hope you have an enjoyable summer and look forward to another skating season this fall.
