Answers

1)  Q Who can play for the GBAYHA Girls?
A
Currently any girl from the ages of 6 to 19.
Although there is no requirement to play in the girls program, it is highly suggested that a girl plays HIP (Hockey Initiation Program) and/or Mighty Mites prior to enrolling.
The Girls program is open to any girl in the Green Bay Metro Area (DePere, Lawrence, Howard-Saumico, Hobart, Bellevue, Allouez, Ashwaubenon, Pulaski, New Franken, Scott, Abrams) area.
2)  Q What are the costs?
A
Costs for the 2008-09 season are as followed:  U10 - $475; U12 - $575; U14 - $665; and U19 - $690.  Each team will have two practices a week.

Cost are based on the number of practices and games played.
3)  Q Who do you play?
A
Last year the girls teams were part of the NEWHL league and played against local girls and boys teams in the area.  Our local girls teams in the area are Marinette, Appleton, Fond du Lac and Central Wisconsin(Mosinee/Wausau team). Girls may play other Wisconsin teams that will be determined at each level.
4)  Q How do I make a team?
A

The association recommends that girls sign up to play at their age level.  If a team is short on numbers, the association will contact another association to see if they can co-op at that age level or ask girls to tryout at the lower level if numbers permit.

There would be a tryout if two teams are made at one age level.

5)  Q How do I register? Where are the forms? When is registration?
A
All these questions may be found on GBAYHA.com under the Registration tab.
6)  Q Who can I contact with Questions?
A
